Background information

Teens4CAP stands for Teens for Climate Action for Peace. The Teens4CAP competition was held for the first time in December 2020 and sponsored by The Blue Ribbon (TBR) Global, with support from UCSI Schools and the SDG Secretariat Office of the UCSI Group. This award is also supported by the Regional Centre of Expertise Greater Kuala Lumpur (RCE GKL), recognised by the United Nations University to promote Education for Sustainable Development. It emphasises SDG 4: Quality and Inclusive Education, as well as the UN SDG theme, "Leave no one behind."

This year, TBR will once again fund the National World Soil Day 2024 award. The theme of this year’s World Soil Day is Advocate for Sustainable Agriculture. We also hope to relaunch the Asia Pacific World Soil Day Award 2024 this year. We expect collaboration with countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Australia and Korea in the Asia Pacific region through the RCE Network and WWF Asia Pacific region. Students participating at the national level will be invited to represent Malaysia at the Asia Pacific level next year.
